Quit smoking Plan
How to quit smoking
As you work your way through your first smokefree week you’ll start to encounter unexpected situations and you may need to adapt your methods.
Understanding the facts
Quitter’s confidence is essential if you want to overcome the cravings, and by the end of the first week you'll have an ever increasing strength to say no to a cigarette. The more smoking situations you overcome, the more belief you'll have in your ability to stay smokefree.
Just because you've quit smoking, it doesn’t mean the coughing and sore throat will stop immediately. Whilst your respiratory system cleans and repairs itself, these symptoms are likely to continue for a few days.
