Quit smoking Plan
How to quit smoking
Two days down, and you’re almost half way through your first week. Pat yourself on the back and try out a few different techniques to maintain the momentum.
Understanding the facts
Within a few days your sense of smell and taste will start to improve, which may give a whole new meaning to your favourite meal. You may also notice energy levels increasing and you should look to adjust your eating and exercise habits accordingly.
Some quitters report increased flatulence and constipation which may cause a few awkward moments. The medical reason for this is a temporary slowing of the intestinal movement, although hopefully you won’t have to explain this to anyone. Drink plenty of water and add roughage to your diet.
