Quit smoking Plan
How to quit smoking
If the first 24 hours were easier than you thought then you need to keep up your optimism and keep the cravings away for another day.
Understanding the facts
Your body will be free of any excess carbon monoxide, with levels returning to normal. ‘Normal’ differs depending on where you live - levels of 1% are normal for those in rural areas whilst urbanites can expect up to 5% in their bloodstream.
With a lot of changes going on inside your body and brain, you may get bouts of dizziness during your first few days, partly due to oxygen level returning to what they should be. Have a sit down and stay hydrated; the feelings will soon pass.
