Evaluate Your Previous Quit Attempts

Think back through your last few quitting attempts and assess how long you lasted, establishing the main reason you slipped back into the habit. If you were going through a stressful time in your life, work out what you can do to avoid that this time round. Mark down any upcoming events that may derail your attempt, such as social occasions or nights out, so you can plan accordingly.

Did you know?

Research shows many smokers have around seven quit attempts before they stop for good.
