The longer you go since your last cigarette, the less frequent and predictable cravings will become. Having things to do when they strike such as getting in touch with a friend or family member you've been meaning to call gives you an excuse not to smoke. Keep a list of ten people in mind, and work your way through each one when you get a craving. Hopefully you'll never get to the end of the list!
